Jason Slaysman
Senior Site Leader
Jason, a native of Maryland with deep roots in the construction industry, grew up in Chestertown on the Eastern Shore of Maryland before moving to Annapolis. His hands-on experience during high school and college breaks, working for his father’s millwork distributorship, laid the foundation for his future. After earning his degree from the University of Maryland, Jason spent a decade in the DC Metro area, where an internship documenting existing conditions and building architectural models for an architect focused on adaptive reuse and infill housing set him on the path to project management.
With over 25 years of experience, Jason has held leadership positions with commercial and residential general contractors, national and regional homebuilders, and award-winning design-build firms. His extensive project management expertise spans a wide range of residential and commercial projects, including municipal projects, large-scale master-planned communities, and high-end new construction and renovation projects. In addition to his career with established firms, Jason worked as an independent contractor licensed in Maryland and Delaware. He was a ten-year builder peer group organization member, collaborating with professionals across the US and Canada to improve industry best practices.
As Senior Site Leader for Nally Homes, Jason brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and clients. He is responsible for overseeing our projects and ensuring that they run smoothly from start to finish. He works closely with our team, our clients, and their architects to ensure that every project remains on schedule and within budget.
Jason and his wife Amanda built their own coastal home 20 years ago in a quiet neighborhood modeled after Colonial Williamsburg. As Terp alums and recent empty nesters, they are proud that their children, Jack and Kate, have followed in their footsteps and are attending the University of Maryland at College Park (Fear the Turtle!). As a family, they enjoy boating and beach life with their two labrador retrievers, Shiloh and Lulu.
