From Concept to Completion: A Coastal Kitchen Remodel in South Bethany Beach
Our clients in South Bethany Beach envisioned a coastal, functional, and stylish kitchen that would be the heart of their home—a space for cooking, entertaining, and creating lasting memories. By collaborating closely with our client and their interior designer, we transformed their early 2000’s kitchen into an updated, coastal dream. Consultation & Feasibility
We met with our clients to discuss their desires and functional needs for their kitchen. Understanding their vision was important, so we covered design aesthetics, layout preferences, and specific features they wanted to incorporate. Scroll to read more.
Pre-construction & Design
We reviewed every detail of the new kitchen design and included it in our comprehensive construction estimate. Afterward, the Nally Homes team, clients, and their interior designer reviewed the estimate, ensuring that all parties were aligned before construction began. This collaborative phase laid the groundwork for creating a space that not only met but exceeded their expectations. Throughout the design process, we worked collaboratively with the client’s interior designer and our network of vendors to ensure that we were creating the customized vision our clients had for their home.
Construction
We started construction by preparing and protecting the surrounding areas in the home prior to demoing the kitchen. For this project, we covered our client’s living room furniture with protective drapes, and concealed the hallways and bedrooms with dust barriers. We then started demolition of the existing kitchen by removing old cabinetry, countertops and appliances. Our clients also wanted to refinish their hardwood floors, so we repaired the existing flooring in some areas and then sanded the entire second floor. After sanding, we applied a variety of wood stain sample colors for our client to choose from and proceeded with the refinishing. Once demo was completed, we began installing the new cabinetry, countertops and appliances, bringing their coastal kitchen vision to life.
