The goal behind this remodel was to create a space that is both easy to maintain and beautifully crafted, providing a comfortable setting to enjoy with the whole family after a day on the beach or hosting dinners with friends. With indoor-outdoor living as a focus, this three-season room was beautifully remodeled to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere to soak in the outdoors from inside.
Unique to this design, the client opted to go for 12 x 24 tile in a basket weave pattern for the flooring, instead of going for typical decking. A gorgeous single piece of granite, with natural and earth tones, was chosen to surround the wood burning fireplace. Floor to ceiling screens remove the need for windows or railings, allowing for an organic flow between the indoors and outdoors. On the ceiling, you’ll discover tongue and groove wooden shiplap, introducing an extra layer of texture. It’s painted in soft, subdued hues to provide a feeling of tranquility.
